- Formal diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and the Republic of Djibouti were established on 16th September, 2015 in Cairo. Sri Lanka Embassy in Addis Abba is concurrently accredited to Djibouti. Embassy of the Republic of Djibouti in New Delhi is concurrently accredited to Sri Lanka.
